I engaged Child lock or some **** on the BS and am locked out!
Hey guys just quickly cause I dont have time to run home to get to my user manual. I have no idea how this happened but for some reason I cannot open the passenger door or trunk from the outside. I can only open the trunk with the key or the button on the driver's side door, and can only open the passenger door from the inside.
Do any of you have any clue how to fix this?
Thanks!

Press the unlock button twice? You can setup the unlock button on your key to unlock all doors on first press, or unlock just drivers door on first press and the other doors 2nd press.
That's the only thing I can think of for this behavior.

^ Yeah this feature exists on several vehicles. Some type of safety feature.
I doubt you have a failing door actuator already

That does not sound like child safety lock to me. Child safety lock does not allow the door to be opened from the inside when the doors are unlocked but does allow the doors to be opened from the outside when unlocked. Otherwise how would you get the child out of the car. You have some other issue or maybe a valet lock of some sort.

^ I agree with you that this is quite the opposite of a child safety lock issue.
However, it isn't a valet thing.
Likely it is something with the key fob and you aren't unlocking twice. If you are, try the other key fob.
After that, you're looking at a door latch and trunk latch going bad simultaneously. If that happened, buy a lotto ticket.
