Advice on purchasing my first AMG
So I am most likely buying a 2009 C63 AMG.
As far as mods/extras to the car, it has the 3M clear bra on the front, inseams of the doors, and side-mirrors. 20% tint all the way around. Spare AMG rim/tire, and the current tires on the car are brand new Michelin Pilots.
Seller claims to be 2nd owner with all maintenance done at Benz dealer, even car washes. I have only seen pictures of the vehicle, but once I return from Afghanistan I will go by to check it out in person.
Seller wants 38K for the car and it has 55k miles at this time.
Sooooo, essentially want some advice on whether, given the aforementioned information, is the car worth that? As the Jalops say, Nice Price or Crack Pipe?!
Thanks for any help you throw my way!

Best thing to do is to get a carfax which will show you accident and some service history. Work out a price, never pay asking. Then request that you take it to a Mercedes Benz dealership for a pre-purchase inspection. They will get it on a lift and go over the car to let you know any problems or maintenance service that needs to be done.
If everything checks out, buy it. If not, walk...
Don't even consider a car from pictures on the net or just on what the seller says. Especially an AMG. Get an extended warranty too.

As mentioned, get a pre-purchase inspection and on an 09 I'd get a warranty.
Also, not sure if you'll be close when you return home, but I'd drive it to get a feel.

Warranty, pre-purchase check, drive it.
They are incredibly solid vehicles but you never know how it was treated beyond what a car fax has to offer. So a warranty is vital especially if you plan to keep the vehicle a while and possibly use it as a dd.
This forum is filled with information of the good and bad. I love my 63 but I did about five hours of reading through the forums before finally making the purchase.
