Headers Question

I guess the picture you posted is looking lke agency power headers as they are slip on. MBH and MHP headers are usually welded.
As for the question on BS headers I guess they would fit any M156 engine.

I would say yes. Difference between the coupe and sedan could be the mid pipes which are probably longer on the coupe.
I don't recall seeing 2 different types of aftermarket headers for sedan and coupe. So my conclusion is OEM headers are interchangeable.

These look like agency power headers for sure.
The owner may have also had them ceramic coated, I was trying to get a close up on the weld points to compare but they are covered. Leads me to believe they are heat coated.
Either way, if you look at the collectors and the O2 bung locations they look very similar to the AP setup.
As Ab mentioned the collectors are slip ons like the AP set.
Asides from a few misc clamps etc, looks like a decent setup.
If it turns out to be an AP setup, the lucky sucker got it for a pretty decent deal. (Read your other post on the set on ebay)

Best part is I got him down to $1k shipped, he sent me Paypal info late lat night and I didn't get it til this morning. Now the add says sold and he is no longer getting back to me! Someone offered him more! Man am I pissed!

All I wanted to do was check with AP to make sure headers were universal between c63 and black series, you know they didn't know the answer!!!
JRCart got back to me and verified exactly what I thought, headers fit but mids are dif lengths but that is easy fix. Found out, msgd him and no response! Damnit! Lol
Still praying! Lmao! Meantime I bought myself a treat....

I always trust you! Just needed a bit more guidance lol. No someone on EBay. I think they were on a car that W's trade in and they put it back to stock and sold headers separate.

I want those shifters. I hate having "up" and "down" too much mental processing vs "+" and "-". Have you heard any C63 with headers? I'd love to listen to the differenced between setups in person.

Nah, I never have heard a header set up in person. I do have concerns about the elevated noise issue, but feel that can be handled with a few resonators if need be. I may pick a set up one day if the deal is right.

I contacted the seller of the headers to see if they still had them. He confirmed they are indeed AP headers. He removed them from a clients CBS who clearly had no issues selling them for whatever he can get. I spoke with Aaron and asked him if he had any other C63 parts but he didn't. He also confirmed that they were heat coated.

Was on the hunt for a good set, was out of the country. By the time I seen your post they were already gone!!!!
You never know, sometimes things don't work out with the buyer. So I contacted the seller only to find out he owns Track Logic. So I called the store and spoke with them. See if they had any other goodies for the C
