Installed: Mode Carbon Black Series/507 Hood Vents
Here are some better photos of my beautiful new Mode Carbon C63 Black Series/507 carbon fiber hood vents. In my opinion this is the way the car should have left the factory in Germany. Easy to install and the fit is perfect. The color, carbon weave and finish is a perfect match for the factory carbon. They really add a dramatic and aggressive look to an already aggressive looking car. I also included a "before" photo showing the boring stock vents just for comparison.

The factory ones are plastic with the metal mesh, the Mode Carbon ones are carbon with the metal mesh, I am sure the Mode cf ones are lighter but we are talking about ounces, the factroy ones probably weigh just a pound for the pair.
I also want to add that just like the factory vents the Mode Carbon vents are fully function heat extracting vents.

Get an SL65BS and make it nuts man, that platform is begging to be made into a monster. Not to mention one of the best looking cars ever made. Esp in person. Wow. Do it!

or PM Nicholas @modecarbon here on MB World as they are sponsor/vendors here.
I am looking forward to working with them on some custom cf bits for my new AMG GT when it arrives late this coming winter.

^ Just saw the release photos on facebook of the car.
I feel like the SLS is a bit more raw looking and the GT-S has sort of a soft, elegant look to it.
I'll be curious to see which car you end up preferring in the long run. Keep us updated on that. I assume you're also going to basically drop it off at Weistec the day you pick it up?
