After searching these part numbers on ECS's website they are claiming they do not carry them for our make and model, are these items somewhat universal...?
Also, does nayone know how much fall in temp you can expect to see from this setup?

They do, if you enter '2014 C63' as your vehicle. I have ordered the kit, however, the status has changed from in stock to backorderd. :-(

Most likely, the MCT running hotter than the TQ Converter transmission is the culprit for limp mode. While the TQ Converter has a lock up mode, there are still more losses than a wet clutch. Having owned and driven pretty much every year C63's with both transmissions, the MCT is a huge step forward in performance and drivability. OK maybe not drivability when stuck in rush hour traffic, it's a little rougher around the edges in traffic haha.

I've had it happen almost every time I've been on the track with one, and they were all on cooler days (even though 2 was in Vegas), so around 15-20C. I was able to get it to happen in both M and S+ modes, but I drive pretty hard.

edit - correction, I just remembered I didn't trigger limp mode last year with the 507. There were a lot of different models there so we only had minimal seat time per car, and I was stuck behind traffic with the 507 so I couldn't go hard.

I have ordered the optional cooling kit. I can keep you informed about how it goes.
Nice keep us updated with the install. Your car seems to run a lot cooler than most 2012's, but then again, there is a huge difference between spirited driving and track driving, where I hardly got out of 2nd and 3rd gear.

Update: After ordering the optional oil cooling kit, it turns out it is not really available yet - my order is now on backorder status with unknown ETA. We will see.......

Thanks for the tip. They claim they have it and I placed an order. Let's see what they say Monday re true availability. They are cheaper than ECSTuning!

I've used them twice so far and they've been great.

Very much looking forward to your impressions of this cooling kit.

I'm pretty sure you'll be one of the first (if not the first) to have the kit retrofitted here in the U.S.

It's great to see members here push the envelope a bit. Best of luck man!

2013 AMG C63 Coupe 507
I am in for this upgrade. My wife (co driver) is right now driving us back for a fuel stop after a 3rd limp mode in 2 days. Damn it is frustrating as we have monstered a Ferrari 612, an F430, 565hp Aston Vantgage S, and stayed with GTRs and Lambos on hill climbs and track day. 2013 coup
e 507 making 460rwhp. 2 wicked stages beside a lake to go, praying it holds up on those last stages as its been a blast and the car a beast till this lame limp mode :-(

Really no reason to live with this. The oil cooling upgrade is available and straight forward. Details are here:
