Used C63 Market
hi all so i have been looking for used c63's for a while now, and i have noticed that most of the cars in my area have a high turn over. Most used c63's have 2 to 3 owners within less than 4 years. I am wondering is this normal in your guys areas? Also any ideas to why that could be... The first thing that came to mind was maintenance and gas but i would think someone would would know prior owing this type of car?
Another question is the lsd a must have on a 507?
Thank you

Firstly, it's a frequently leased car meaning common for multiple owners <4yrs.
Also, the C63 has had many iterations as well - 09 was when they got p30 right, then p31 intro'd in 2010, then facelift 2012, then 507, etc. For fans of the car, many had multiple versions through ownership. IE owned a non-pp car for 2 yrs then 507 came out and they traded up.
Finally, the economy has been strong and many folks in the demographic have enjoyed success, stepping up to other cars maybe sooner than they normally would. AMG sales have been through the roof.
My take, hope that helps.

Are you suggesting the c63 isn't reliable?
I've heard they are fairly rock solid, but do require a fair amount of tlc
To the op I searched for months, many cars were a few years old with multiple owners. I attribute that to a few things, sometimes people who get cars like this are constantly getting something else so they buy this drive a year then switch cars or someone spent more than they could afford on a car and the. Got out of it
If you search and wait you'll find a decently low mileage one owner car

wtf? coming from the c32 owner??
high turn over rate, because most people that buy 80k$+ new cars change them like under wear. The second owner wants to get rid of it for fear of the warrranty running out. There's plenty of reasons, poor mpg, eats tires, have kids, need more back seat space, rides rough. Everyone thinks they want a race car until they own one. not that a c63 is a real race car but it definitely leans more towards performance than luxury, and it can get you a lot of speeding tickets.
