I have a few painted CF parts. Haven't painted over my interior cabon parts "yet" but have other parts that are painted CF.

'08 C63 Estate
Roswell painted his rear spoiler white. It tuned out very good.

I had a GT2 wing on my 911 turbo that was originally CF then painted to match the car. Turned out well, but was done by the previous owner. I would've left the CF alone

To answer OP question, yes u can paint over ur CF trim. I assume the clear coat is damaged?
