I've tried it, doesn't work. I know exactly how to do it. But I lack the proper tools apparently. The pin is pressed in hard. I need ideas on what else can be used.

There's no special tool. It presses out from one side. Maybe you're doing it on the wrong side. Or you need to press harder. There is no magic tool which will make this easier for you. Everyone presses it out with a little screwdriver, or a nail, or a small dowel, or maybe a steak skewer from the kitchen drawer. You get it. Something metal and small that can press it out.

From my experience screwdrivers don't work as well. Use the handle side of a 4mm Allen key wrench, it's flat sided so it will press the pin a lot easier. Make sure it's at the correct 45 degree angle. The pin will release and the air bag will pop out, be careful of the wires and make sure you don't pull on them.

He's talking about the pin to remove the paddles from the electronics

Ah!

In that case. I used an Allen key as well, It popped right off.

Yours is probably jammed. Keep at it with different tools and I'm sure it will come off.
