Anyone ever remove the fog lights on pre fl

Has anyone removed the fog lights from the pre FL bumper? i know there will be an error that will come up which will get annoying. Anyone know a way around the error message if just completely taking them out?

Humm you might want to trick the computer by terminating each ends with a fake load like a resistor or something
