I need a sanity check from my fellow amg owners, I'm really thinking of trading my car in straight up for this.

Interesting. I also have a 2011 C63 that I bought used about 8 months ago, great car. My son just bought a brand new 2015 Subaru WRX (not STi). It's also a great car. I drove it the other day and I have to admit, I thought maybe I should have bought one. But here's the comparison in my mind:

1) The C63 is tons faster, the turbo subby motor is nice, but it just doesn't have the grunt that huge V8 does. In fact, I'd compare the WRX to the CLA45 AMG, not the 63.

2) The Mercedes is a much better looking car. Don't get me wrong, the WRX is not ugly, but the C63 is one of my favorite cars to look at!

3) The Subaru gets the nod on being cheaper to own and maintain, by a long ways.

In the end, it's a tough choice, I know I'd be perfectly happy with the WRX. Maybe it will be my next car.
