C63 Coupe vs Sedan Value & Desirability
From a trade-in perspective, considering both cars have the same options and are in comparable condition and mileage: is a 2012 coupe or a sedan of greater value or desirability?
I am looking to trade my car (2012 Coupe, 43,000 km, P31, all possible options, except I have 18" stock wheels) in on an RS7 and the "stealer" is low-balling me at $42K (Canadian in Toronto).
Although I am getting a good price on the RS7 as it was pre-registered and the buyer walked away, so they have to sell it as a used car at a "supposed loss". Not sure that is exactly true.....

Dealers will always get low prices when trading in your car. Half of the time they won't sell it themselves and are just giving it for someone else to sell.
If you can sell it yourself, I'd do just that. Anything you can get above the dealer price is good to get

You're effectively getting $42K + HST (tax) towards the rs7.
Look at autotrader and see what similar cars are selling for and make the call as to whether it's worth it.

Got him up to 43.5K and 5% off of already reduced price, which is about 10%+ of MSRP.
However, just found a 2014 E63s wagon and they will give me 45K and both cars are about the same price all in.
Cant decide now??

^ Wagon. Just stop. Right now, whatever you are doing just cease to do it and go get that E63s. You will MURDER people in that thing.
And before people start jumping at me, yes I know how fast the RS7 is. These two cars are very comparable by I've had better luck with MB than Audi and the AMG wins in more categories for me.
