My car has exactly the same behavior
Hello there.
My 2009 C63 started to make the same noise in the pretty same conditions. I think it may be related to the chain tensioner or it may be a defective bearing. The noise stops when the oil reachs normal temperature.
Did you get the solution for this noise?

Sorry, never had a chance to come back to this post. I still have the C63, and still does the same noise. Did anyone manage to diagnose & fix this in the end ?
