Sorry if this had been addressed 100 times. I'm in the market and hoping to purchase later this week. Does anyone have a good recommendation on car seats that actually fit decently in the backseat? I have 2 kids. 1 will be rear facing and one forward facing. Peter had mentioned his choice for his E63. Just wondering if anyone can shed some light on what they use. This won't be often as I have other vehicles. But hard to justify if I can't put them in there if needed. Thanks.

FWIW - I've used a Safety First Sentinel II in my C63 - forward facing.

It was placed in the middle of the back seats as this was before #2 arrived.

Any rear facing seat is going to result in the passenger (or driver for that matter) not having a huge amount of leg room.

We've used the Chicco keyfit 30 infant seat in my c63. It works fine in the middle, but my wife and I both thought it was tight legroom-wise behind the passenger/driver seat. I'm 6'3 and she is 6'1 so ymmv, but I wouldn't expect a ton of room with any rear facing seat.

The Orbit line fits but is tight.

Rear facing seat will be a tight fit (it helps if you put it in the middle but obviously that's not an option for you), but I don't have any issue with front facing ones.

We used the same seat in our C63, though my wife is much less tall (5'5") and thought that there was just enough leg room. Until you turn the seat around, legroom will be limited -- unless you put the child in the middle...

Yea my wife is only 5'3 so a rear facing behind her wouldn't be to bad.

RECARO performance sport front facing and the and the britax rear facing infant seat is what I have used w/o issues. I'm 6-00 and my wife 5-10.

Maybe that helps.
Btw both seats are German made and will go with the car.
