Yep, they're real.
My car sits for a week at a time. I've noticed an anomoly that I thought had to be related to an out of balance drive shaft.
Nope. The Contis are the perfect combo for it to happen in cold weather and under my circumstance.
Wanted to share should anyone else notice vibrations for the first 5-10 miles as I did.

Yeah it will happen. You gotta move the vehicle. Also at 4000 lbs tires that my be slightly deflated below 41-38 psi will flatten out. Make sure your tires have air.
Where the heck do you go for weeks on end? Out to sea like some pirate?

What model and size Contis do you have. Also, what is the cold tire pressure?
The only brand of tire that I have really ever noticed this with was when I had General tires on a truck I used to own.

typically if the tires are still decent after a good heat cycle and possible rebalance if necessary the vibration will go away. Not much you can do about it, this will happen to any car or tire.
