DID RESONATOR DELETE - Lost Torque. What should I do?
So I had my local muffler shop do a resonator delete, Im very happy with the sound. at first I wanted to do 2nd cat and resonator delete, for a daily driver i think I'm happy I did not go that route, this is a good note cold start sounds amazing, I still have the AMG bark, down shift is aggressive sound some back pressure popping. BUTTTTTTT not sure if its just me and its a mental thing but I feel I have lost Torque my car is tuned and I feel it.
Anyone also do this and felt the same or is it just me?
I really don't want to go back to stock after this sound but the torque loss is not worth it.
Anyone have any 2 cents on if I put the resonator back on and take 2nd cats out . Will it be louder? same torque loss? or will it come back?

I really don't think you lost any torque and the only way to prove it is a before and after dyno pull. My experience is that reducing back pressure always increases torque, but you get more of an effect up high so when it pulls harder up on top, people mistakenly think they lost low end torque.

I've experienced loss in performance after modifying the exhaust system in the past with other cars. Typically finding with n/a vehicles most need some back pressure.
With forced induction, total opposite, open it up as much as possible for best gains.

I dont know about you guys, but when I changed out my start button to a carbon fiber one, I could definitely tell that my car felt lighter and more nimble and that I was going 0.000000000000001 seconds faster all around.

I was hoping for a before and after dyno sheet on the same dyno...
Sigh, it's in your head homie.

Don't stress it,
many C63 owners have done both the Resonator and secondary cat deletes without any negative affects.

I personally drain my washer bottle for that extra omph.
Also, i now have upgraded to a lightweight tissue box, half full ofcourse. For those not in the know, the LWT Superlaggera Tissue Box is the one with the holes drilled in it.

Not sure if this is relevant but I know that tunes can be engineered around your setup. Again, not sure if this involves distal exhaust items but I believe Eurocharged (and perhaps Kleeman) will alter tune a bit depending on setup, but this may only be header mods, and other types. Just a thought.
