Wife was driving her new baby.... new 2014 C63 with less than 700 miles to work today.... and she get's a CEL, then starts to stall....... she nurses it to the side of the road in a bad neighborhood..... and per my instruction restarts it..... cel goes off, but down on power.

was running really rough, vibrating.... way down on power.


Will keep you all posted on results from dealership tech'ies.

Not please at all with this car so far. hopefully it's a finite problem..... bad O2 sensor, mas, or something... I really do not want to send my wife on the road in a mystery break-down machine.



Dealer is looking for codes.... they claim it's fine now......

 

Could just be something as simple as a bad tank of gas if you filled up recently.

 

Since it is a new car you won't have any problem getting it fixed under warranty.

You sure it wasn't the ESP light instead of a CEL? What you described sounds very familiar of what I went through recently.

 

Was not bad gas. She already burned through 1/4 of a tank.

The cel popped up as an engine symbol.

 

Sell it , just joking ... That's why you have a warranty

 

Glad it is under warranty... Fuel pump came apart and bits were getting sucked up and momentarily choking off fuel.

New pump and we should on the road.
