Last year, there were tons of 2011 white c63s that seemingly hit the US used car market with "interesting" title history.

Anyone know where they came from? Seriously, they were all white and I don't think it was a coincidence. Prior to last year, I didn't see many white c63s. Rarely saw a new one on a dealer lot in white.

Just wondering if anyone has any speculation about where all these magical used white C63s came from?

My spidey sensors are pegged on this.

I recently came across a bunch of 2012 coupes in various colors with basically no carfax history and low mileage (7 to 8k), all optioned similarly w/ p31 and lsd. I viewed one in person and am 95% sure they were retired AMG Driving Academy cars even though many of them were offered as CPO.

Do not forget about the THOUSANDS of cars that have been sitting idle waiting fir consumers to forget about Sandy!!!!! I am in GA and will tell you that in the last 6mo there has been an ENORMOUS number of cars hit the market here that seem to be clean cars with good history but were actually flood write-offs....you do NOT want anything to do with any car that has been in water....PERIOD!!!! And its not as hard to do as you think when states like FL will inspect a vehicle with a bad/salvage title and for $89 issue a new CLEAN title if it passes inspection.

I have a feeling you are correct about them being AMG Academy cars. MBZ of Houston (and at least one independent Houston dealer) has several super low mile 2012's with LSD and P31 and they told me they were "factory" cars. I avoided them.
