Introducing the HRE Series R1

The new Series R1 line debuts with a single style with design cues from the most intricate HRE street wheels, engineered for optimal performance on any track machine. The R1 is available in diameters ranging from 17 to 19 inches, widths range from 7 to 14 inches and weights ranging from 17 to 20 pounds along with configurations for center lock vehicles.

All HRE wheels are engineered to minimize unsprung mass and rotational inertia for optimal acceleration, handling and braking performance. Each wheel is built-to-order and there are nearly infinite fitment, color and finish options available for the ultimate custom-tailored wheel buying experience. Please PM us or email TitoR@hrewheels.com with any questions.

Weight, small aesthetic changes in the lip and spoke edges, limited diameters and price.

So I assume lighter.
Is price up or down?

Correct, when compared at 19" (the only diameter they share in common), the P101 is heavier and slightly more expensive than the R101.

They look too much like P101... So u are saying the R101 are lighter & slightly less expensive?

Are they forged?

^There can only be so many wheel designs out there. I actually had to go double check their facebook page because I saw wheels on an i8 that was awesome and looked exactly like these... But were the p101's.

^^ lol I understand there can only be so many wheel design.. Just find it funny the addition of certain wheels like this R101 with subtle changes.

It can get really confusing especially that they have the flow formed series now.

FlowForm designs will always deviate slightly from our Forged designs (FF01 was an exception as we needed to initially test the waters with something successful).

R101 design is perhaps the design most race teams/track guys desired so we opted for something similar.

Think of the R101 as the P101 Superleggera, lol.

Thank you! We love that car. Too bad it's sold already!
