Fuel Tank Capacity
Not sure if anyone can answer this, but I noticed when looking at C63 specs, that PFL cars have 66L tank, and FL cars post 2012 have 80L tank.
So says www.carsales.com.au
This applies to Sedan/Coupe/Estates
Can anyone with a 2012+ verify this?
Thanks

Um, NO. The manual for my '14 states 66L tank, of which 14L is listed as reserve. These guys must have added the 2 figures, even though the manual clearly states that it's 66L total (so the reserve light in the C63 will come on at about 14L left, after 52L used). 66L tank. It's notable as the C63 has a larger reserve than the other C classes since she's such a fuel hog...

I am assuming (because I have not yet drained and measured myself) that I'm about 17.5 US gallons here (2012). Which is equal to 66L.
My gas light goes on at just about 15 gallons spent. It should go on with about 2 gallons remaining, hence the 17.5'ish gallon total.

I don't mind the smaller tank, actually. It's not my daily driver and so when I'm driving it I'm certainly aware that I'm burning some serious fuel, and so the more frequent fill ups don't bug me so much. But for those who drive it all the time I know it'd be nicer to get more mileage out of it.

I know a guy with a Black PFL Estate in Mosman. Lowered.
I have also seen another PFL estate getting around Lower North shore too.
Do you ever go to Cavallino Cars & Coffee?

i took my '70 boss 302 to one of the coffee meets. lots of nice and unique cars, but tbh, car meets and that sort of thing has never been my bag. i like cars, but im not one to hang out at meets and what not. not even track days. just never been my thing
however, when i do drive to work on sundays early in the morning, i do see a lot of the cars heading towards terrey hills, lots of astons, ferrari, 911, etc

I just turned 10k miles on my C63 since I bought it 6 months ago. I live in the city and my driving is mixed 40:60 city:highway. I am NOT easy on the go go pedal. I log every fill up on fuelly, and it says I am averaging 16.9 MPG over the last 10k miles. (and that's US MPG to you knuckle heads in the UK where you are more generous with your calculation )
That's not bad at all. The C63 gets a bad rep for mpg, when in reality, it's not bad.
