I seldom explore the performance of my car.
Yesterday I was rolling at about 20 miles and hour and nailed it. It broke loose smoking the tires hit second then when it hit third it went bang or something similar and seemed to stall. I let off quickly and everything seems normal. I drove a bit in S and C and M and went though the gears up and down for a while. Everything seems normal still.
It's not supposed to do that.
I don't know if it over revved since I was watching the road. It was if the engine jumped through the hood or the drive shaft exploded.
There are no leaks and no unusual sounds.
It rides normal.
What should I look for.

Probably the trims are so used to you driving it so tame that it wasn't well expecting you do go wide open randomly.
Get that thing breathing a little more often.
As for what the sound was, no idea.
