WTF? I used to have an M3 coupe with a Thule roof rack on which I had both a cargo carrier and a bike rail. I bought the car used from my pastor in the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, and he knows best because the colander he wears on his head is a racing helmet and is furthermore optimized for both air flow and weight, so I am afraid the Flying Spaghetti Monster is much more in touch with automotive righteousness than the Pope. Have you ever seen the Popemobile? How can you possibly believe anything from a person that rides in that thing?

Well played Diabolis, well played indeed Although I may not be inclined to put roof racks on my ride I must admit I do find the Flying Spaghetti Monster somewhat intriguing, more so than the Pope for sure.

All joking aside, a couple of acquaintances (both die-hard automotive nuts) swear by the SeaSucker mounts. I have personally seen one of them strap a bike on his Ferrari 488. I am fairly skeptical of vacuum suction mounts, but those than have them swear by them. Google is full of pics of two-door exotics carrying bikes on them and they all appear to be using the SeaSucker mounts.

Racks and such have come a long way from the pieces of wood hooked up to crude suction cups and straps of years gone by. From what you're saying, it sounds like the SeaSucker mounts would be the answer. I can't ever see myself with roof racks on my SLK but if I were planning on taking it on a long trip I'd no doubt set it up to haul a small trailer like we used to haul behind our motorcycles. Similar to a car top carrier on wheels.

Check with your supplier to see if there is a windscreen you can get for the racks as an add on. That would dispel a lot of the wind noise. If you are handy around a workshop you may be able to McGuiver something yourself that will work and fit in with the beauty of your car.

Forget the bike rack... where did you get those SICK side ground effects? My son's M4 has those but I've been unable to find them for a C63. Love them!

Custom made. Shoot me a DM on Instagram (oreo_c63) or message me. I can get you a set for like $200...They are just plastic. Not a lot of people run sideskirts on this car and IDK why...makes it a LOT more aggressive and filled out.
