Glad to hear that the DW tires are meeting your expectations as well! Originally Posted by aussie e55

Other option was the Nitto NT555. Had a set on my 03 cobra and they did very well also. Plus, potential to run a 285 since they tend to run a bit narrower!!!
I would highly, highly recommend the DW tires. They provide the best wet grip of any street tire I have ever used. Originally Posted by johnny--2k

I know the DWS all-season tires have been well-reviewed but I have run all-season tires (Michelin) on some of my tuned BMW xDrive cars (335i, 750i) and they simply do not feel as responsive/composed when it comes to cornering.
I do not have any experience with that particular Nitto model.

Yep. Continental makes the ExtremeContact DW, which is a max performance summer tire that rides smoothly/quietly and still has monster grip.Originally Posted by solekeeper

The DWS is Continental's all-season version of the ExtremeContact DW.
Most LCI C63s w/ 18" wheels come with the Continental ContiSportContact 5P, which is Continental's equivalent to the Michelin Pilot Super Sport.
All of the new BMW M3s and M4s come with PSS but soon, all M3s and M4s with 19" wheels will be arriving with the ContiSportContact 5Ps as well.

quartz, same question, are you on 265 or 275? the hankooks are sexy. i like em
I'm running the PSS in 275/35/18 on the stock wheel. Stock suspension, non-PP car. Originally Posted by solekeeper

Here are some pics for reference. I think they look great. Fill in the wheel gap nicely and provide a little meat!

thank you for providing a perfect angle with the 275's. they look perfectly fine to me. not sure why so many say they aren't made for a 9" wheel. i guess that boils down to technicalities.

Wow, I'm surprised. Your 275's don't look as tall as others I've seen. Maybe I'll bump up to 275 from my 265. Going from a stock 255 to 275 is 20 mm which is .78 inches, if my calculations are correct. That's quite a difference in width.Originally Posted by johnny--2k

the trick is seeing how other 275's look. the ones posted above seem to fit perfectly flush with the quarter. which is what i would want. but i might not necessarily go with those exact tires, however.

Getting my PSS's installed on friday! 245 front/ 275 rear. My only concern is the lowered suspension, but hopefully it will clear it.

IIRC, you should be good as long as you are not running spacers.
