Seriously Considering a C63

Scratch the ipe exhaust and go with mhp v2 or Lbh headers with x pipe and factory mufflers.
You won't need the tranny, the MCT seems to be holding well. Catch can and trunk ice tank are also necessary.

well of course "no way". everyone here is claiming that I'm going to be buying a '13 for 30k and then put 30k into the car. did I say "hey guys as soon as I buy this car it's off to Weistec to became the fastest car in the world"??? also, I was not boasting, I am looking for experienced owners opinions, sorry if my build offends you.
I can see this is not the place for help, but I will post pictures when I get the car and enjoy my build my self. thanks again guys.

I think what put some members off is how you delivered your message - 'ya gotta ease into it more…
Don't just say you want a 2013 for $30K!

I'm pretty sure he mentioned $30k because of the early responses on how he will buy a car then instantly put the same amount of money into mods. He is most likely planning on spending $30,000 in mods based on his current research. He was being sarcastic when he said show him a C63 for $30k. Based on his understanding of mods I'm sure he has a more realistic idea of what an actual purchase price will be.
Not sure why y'all hating so early on him. He laid out his plans with actual products and a potential shop and asked for input/validation.
You guys do understand that with a new generation coming out new material and content will be increasingly rare, right? There won't be any reason to continue to come back if the second post of every thread is a non-productive response telling the OP to do a search. Taking a lesson from "Bambi" and if you don't have anything constructive to say then STFU and don't respond. If you get annoyed repeating yourself let somebody else respond.
Eventually (and sooner than later) there will be no new content just new members new to the w204 and the only point of the forum will be social interaction with like-vehicled individuals probably talking about the same stuff over and over. Disappointed in a lot of you with your responses. I understand others of talked a big talk but never showed anything but the OP may or may not be like that and should be considered innocent until proven guilty. Rant over
And to OP, Greencastle area.

the trunk tank is critical only if you're on the track correct? i see that you daily your C63, but do you fill that tank up everyday?
i'm also aware that i will need a catch can, just seemed too small of a mod in my opinion to list. thanks for the input.

You can go from quiet to loud, just use the throttle accordingly. Headers are only loud when you step on it.
The trunk tank is necessary to give you another 10 or more litres of cooling capacity. You use ice only at the track.

If I could, I would go back and invest some of the money I spent on cars and such so that when I was 40 I could buy real cars.
i like the sound with MPH V2's but i also like the idea of being able to go from "quiet" to stupid loud with the push of a button.

Anyway, hope you didn't take my posts as me ragging on you. But as I said before you sound like a younger ambitious version of me. Why don't you start off by getting the car first and go from there. A lot of us can really be great help from then on.

That doesn't mean I'll stop ragging on you. It just means that you have earned a little bit of my respect, donut.
Good luck in your car search. I recently came from an M3 and I find my C63 is much more fun to drive.

"Earned a little of my respect"
GTFO Troll, no one gives a **** if you respect them or not.
The C63 forum is so full of themselfs...we drive C63's not fuking S65's/G65's you cocky losers. Get off that little bull**** highhorse and check yourself because when you goto the MB dealer, they'll check you in as "Commoner" exactly what the C stands for on the back of our cars.

OP-
Waiting for the summer is a good idea once the W205 C63s hit the streets and become popular, the W204s are going to drop in price significantly by the end of the summer/Fall this year.
I don't think it's far fetched to say the 2012-2013 W204s can be bought for mid $30s. Hell, at auction they're already selling for very low $40s!
Good luck with your search.

I hope this doesn't turn into another thread about how avery supported his family since he was 16. I'd rather hear about how donut will treat his hemorrhoids when he's 65 than about this clown.

Case in point, there was one at auction that just sold in Destin, FL last week.. 2012 with 44K miles for $39K. VERY clean car, too.
I'm willing to bet this time next year, low $30s. Mark my words.

I never said $30K. I said mid $30s. Even 3-5 grand is a big difference in the depreciation world.

e92 M3's haven't hit the $30k mark yet that includes 2008's. You will start seeing the prices of high mileage C63's fall but I still stand by my comment that it'll be a while before FL C63's hit that range - auction cars excluded.

Get your car and let's discuss charging together, I'm very interested in stage 2 and have similar questions especially mechanical work in my area. What type of car are you looking at? What's you color preference?
