C63 722.9 Transmission Reduced Friction Blue Fluid? A89 Transmission Service
Has anyone done their transmission service on the 2012+ C63 MCT Transmission? I am trying to buy the parts to do the change as 40k is coming up, and an online dealer told me that I have a code A89 which is for the reduced friction transmission. This apparently is the code for the Blue fluid transmissions.
The concern I have is a document states that cars built after 6/2010 are all blue fluid transmissions, but older threads always indicate that all 722.9 transmission are the same MCT or not. so is the change from red fluid to blue fluid on 6/2010 regardless if it is MCT or not? Other threads about the tranny always say 722.9 is the same regardless if you have a torque converter or have MCT. But I also find posts that say the blue fluid trannies are only for 7G tronic plus.
