Congratulations on the gorgeous car!
If you're interested, I've gone through the journey with upgrading my halogen lights to bixenons on my previous C63. I started by retrofitting Xenon projectors into the OE housing. It looked and worked fine, but you wouldn't mistake it for OEM. You can see my thread here: https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...ml#post5980010
I ended up replacing it with a pair from Depo and the quality was good enough that it can be mistaken for OEM. The only thing lacking was the ILS, otherwise everything else was the same. Overall an easy mod for about $400.
It's not necessary to do, and I was quite happy with the halogen lamps, but as time went on, I wanted my car to look less 1990 and be more current with the times.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your purhcase. Get the depo headlights to replace those hideous things Mercedes call headlights.

Apparently these guys are right up the road from me in Rancho Cucamonga CA. I messaged them on ebay and the invited me to their shop to check them out. Also offered to install (not that I need them to)

I'm not a fan of the chrome, it's like getting chrome taillights to me.
Go black, but whatever you like, it is your car.
The quality is pretty good, you don't get the mercedes name on the ring of the projector and no ILS.
