C63 vs SRT8

P.S. if you do get a Jeep, please upgrade the exhaust on it, it is horrible.

As another poster mentioned, keep the C63 and pick up an SRT8 also if possible!

As for mods, I wouldn't do anything substantial but smaller stuff.
End of the day though it's all opinions and personal preferences, myself I don't know that I could go from a c63 dd to a performance suv just totally different vehicles

I like C63 quite a bit and don't want to end up regretting it. The only cars I know I wouldn't mind regretting are things like the 911 Turbo or maybe even the GTR (although brand name applies here too). So I really don't want to make the wrong call after spending a lot more money and what not. I am so conflicted that one minute I have made up mind to go for the Jeep and the other I want to keep the C lol. Let's see I guess....I hope it's the right decision whatever it is.

I'd be curious to know what car for the same or less money the poster who called the C63 not a sports car is referring to?
Yeah, my Elise SC is more of a sports car in terms of slightly less body roll, but I would certainly put my 507 in the same league. It's not a 'performance luxury' car at all. In terms of the interior oppointments, sure; but the engine, steering, suspension, and braking is pure "sports" car.
For cars in a similar price range, I would mention the viper, vette, maybe the GT4. Other than that, for the price range you are mostly looking at used and not new.

I've driven both the c63 and the new gen Jeep extensively, two completely different versions of fun. You'll either love it or hate it.
Good luck.

my bone stock average was right at 4.1-4.2(good air)
with the motor/trans i was deep in the 3s....3.5-3.6(again, good air)
keep in mind also that GETTING to 60 from a stop is what the Jeep does best, completely traction related due to awd and huge footprint.
the WK2s were not as in your face as the WK1s when they came out but for 2014 they got Launch Control and seemed to get some of their ***** back
again, they are totally different animals but they are both a blast to drive....they just perform their best in different places
And as for fast.....Builder Bill (Paramount) and Harrison (Stage6) are BOTH deep in the 8s in the 1/4 now.....that's moving some serious air with those bricks

i agree with that 101%

Bottom line they're just totally different categories and its all about your needs.
If I didn't also own a truck with my c63 I might be more inclined to get something like an ml63 or jeep srt
I like what some of the x5s put down too

and i LOVE the X5M....but they are just SO damn cost prohibitive...drove one when looking for the C63 and it was still better than $90k...USED!!!!!!!!!!!!
and just for fun....
