C63 vs SRT8
the weistec bolts are a grand so that isnt a deal breaker. I was ready to throw in the towel and go back to my search for the perfect CTS-V!
I still would do a search and call a few of the dealers that were discounting and see if they are giving deals.
As for the weistec bolts, they are probably stronger than the MB replacement parts so yes that would be an option if you are near weistec and can afford to have them do it.

The only real difference I found with the mb and the third parties was the deductible
Now, you can also find good deals on third party warranties if you look
IF you are good with tools you could fix the bolts yourself if they go bad, it's the other issues that concern me more...like if my keyless go stops working
Good luck!
My main reason for getting rid of my C63 was due to the winter. It didn't matter having winter tires for me. I had two really bad winters here in Chicago and said F* it. I want an SUV. I would probably have gotten an ML63 if it weren't for that damn column shifter. It is literally the one thing that will automatically turn me off from a car just by looking at it.
The one thing I miss the most about my C63 is the sound it makes when I start it or press on the gas pedal. Aside from that the speed is another thing, but stock for stock, I don't feel that much of a difference. No joke. I'll post a pic of my evic best times at the bottom of this post.
I didn't own a 2012 C63 so I can't speak to the quality of the interior, but the Jeep is far better than my 2010 MY. It is not full of plastic as someone mentioned. It is actually a really nice interior and I get non-stop compliments on it. Especially MB and BMW owners all have liked my interior better than theirs.
The ride is smooth and I drove Chicago to Florida and back with absolute comfort. I'm looking to lower mine a bit, but stock feels great. I know my limits though and don't drive too much like a dumbass, but with the performance tires I felt like I was driving a car and I didn't have to worry about fishtailing everywhere (I do miss being able to drift when I want though). The Jeep stays planted to the ground and takes off like a ****. It handles more like a car than a Jeep.
The stereo system is better in the Jeep IMO. Touch-screen, nav, controls, all the electronics seem better, but there is no disc drive and no hard drive which I found hard to believe, but it is what it is. I've got my 64GB SD card and phone plugged in or running blue tooth so I have plenty of music.
Exterior looks is personal opinion, but my Jeep looks badass. More so than my C63, but maybe on par with the 507. Again, personal opinion.
Speed - nothing compares to my C63. Sure, I might lose my stomach on launches with the Jeep while spinning tires through second gear on the C63, but on the highway and the dragstrip, the C63 is where it was at. Once I removed all my mods and had to drive it to the dealership, it sounded and felt like a wimpy little car.
I don't anticipate keeping this Jeep forever since my plan is to hold out for the Hellcat version, but I don't regret making the trade. I still embarrass little punks who think they have fast cars and try to impress their girlfriends and I can tow a boat with it. A lot of people see a Jeep and think it's slow, but I love the look on their face when they realize they just got beat by a 5000+lb SUV.
Will I get a C63 again? I'm not sure. I've been holding on to my parts just in case I wanted to grab a 2014 507 Edition, but I'm beginning to think new and better will come along and I won't want old school any more.
In my opinion, the C63 is a great car and there is really nothing to compare to the 6.2 engine and exhaust notes. I don't regret ever having one and I will always give respect to one. I have friends with AMG's and it makes me a little sad every time I see them, but I never said goodbye to AMG forever.

Here are my best times so far in the Jeep. The only thing I don't like about the EVIC is it rounds up to the nearest tenth according to my runs at the dragstrip. The only mod I have done so far is add an aFe intake since the modding for the 2014's is still in its infancy.
The thing I miss most.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG

It worked out great for last winter's brutal snowstorms here in Chicago.

Yup think it's best to re-think when it's summer again. Until then I did some exhaust work to make things interesting...

Illinois is strict. There was no way I was going to pass unless I added cats somehow and I knew I wasn't going to keep the car so I didn't want to waste the money. Marcin did me solid with the install, but I gotta tell you, that guy is busy as hell. He does a good job!
firstly, why should you care what other people think about what car u drive? i stopped caring about what other people thought years ago. its obvious that you are relatively successful, so u dont need to impress anyone.
secondly, if u wanted an amg, and a suv, why wasnt a ml63 first on your list. it would have made everything easier.
if i was in the market for a kickass suv, and i was at one stage. the ones that topped my charts was the audi sq5 (i was going to pull the trigger on one), ml 63 (too expensive), bmw x5m (too expensive), porsche macan.
i went with the c63 estate instead, i decided i didnt want to be a suv driver
