Quick question regarding instrument clusters.
Hey everyone.
I have a 2010 C63.
I have an opportunity to buy a cluster from a 2012 C63.
2 things to ask. The cluster that my friend has, is in MPH. My current cluster (being from Aus) is in KPH.
Can I open the cluster and swap the facia card (as I call it) that says MPH and put my KPH one in place of it? Pulling the cluster apart is easy to do. But Ahmad anyone done this?
Also will my original odometer still show on the cluster? Or will it change to what his miles are?
Lastly, is there any other bits I will need to make this work correctly?
I'm going to pop it in a go for a lap around the block and see what happens. But does anyone have any tips?

Thanks, i did read that thread already.
I went ahead and got the cluster anyway.
Plugged it in, and everything works. Only thing that hasnt come up is my odometer.
I will dust off my star diag and see what i can code.
I will post up some pics soon.

I don't know if it's relevant but in that other thread link he said that he had to fit a brand new cluster for the odometer to show.
