Need ideas for first mod to differentiate my car
im looking for some good exterior mods for this car. I've never modded a black car before and I do not want to go with a murdered out look. I want to change something that'll make it stand apart from a stock c63. Any suggestions are welcomed. Budget to spend on mods 2k?
My gf drove a white c250 coupe with sport plus package and I feel that the black white combo made it much more eye catching. The black coupe seems to just blend in.

I'd get rid of the orange markers and also get the "6.3" BS fender badges.
Usually murdered is the way to go on a black car, kind of hard to make it look not tacky otherwise. I'd still get rid of most of the chome around though. Everything blacked out (including tints) and leaving the wheels the way they are will still look nice and clean.
You could also lower the car and get wheel spacers to make the way it sits a bit more aggressive.

Tint your windows, smoke your orange side markers and get some H&R lowering springs from Jacky at Vivid Racing.
All of that will cost you less than $1k (not counting installation of springs) and will give your car a more aggressive look.
If you want it to sound more aggressive, take it to an exhaust shop and have them remove your secondary cats and replace with straight pipe.
After ALL of that you're still not much over $1k (maybe $1200).

This Man speaks truth,
A simple lowered stance + clean tints is really going to transform the look of the car.
My opinion, don't try to stand out. Make the car more enjoyable while enhancing the aesthetics you already have. For 2K Lowering Springs + Wheel spacers to get those beautiful wheels to sit a bit more flush + Tints + Painted side Markers. You may have enough to get a decent quality CF diffuser while your at it
PS: In life Carbon Fiber accents on black cars look stunning.

I blacked out everything, added tints, lowered, etc. on my P31 Sedan. -I loved the look but it depends on what youre after

Something that not many people do but I loved was a light smoke tint on the rear tail lights with the centers cut out! Subtle but looked so good on the dark car!

Thanks for all the great suggestion everyone. Ya I'm not trying to make the car stand out in a bad way, but instead make it look cleaner and meaner than it does now. Definitely will black out side marker and invest in some spacers, light window tint since I don't have blind spot detection and these blind spots suck, and springs down the line. I had KWv2 on my BMW so I'm really enjoying this stock suspension for now living here in Los Angeles.
Also really considering a wrap, but I feel like that money can be spent on performance and even some rims.

What is the legal tint law in CA?
You should plasti dip the emblems & the chrome strips with red color. Black out your grill or dip it red and see if you like it. I'm in the process of doing that for my c300. Red on black looks wicked.

Yea I think I want to black out the chrome ring around the grill and the chrome on the LED strip like the 507 edition.
Also thinking of wrapping the car in balloon white but not sure how it would look with the door jams still being black

Be careful with white vinyl... it's a complete nightmare to keep clean and stains so easily.

In California we can't have any front window tint. Only back passenger and rear windshield.

I think black is a tough one to add color too, because it's a fine line when it starts to looking tacky. This is why I usually buy almost any other color of car other than black. I just fell for the black one in the show room so I am in the process of blacking it out but trying small amounts of red to see if it works.

1. Black Out Emblems / Grille / Trim
2. Lower is H&R Springs or pick up a set of CKS Coilovers
3. Spacers maybe for more aggressive stance.
4. X Pipe from Triple A Muffler on La Cienaga
5. Tune...you can't see this but it's worth it! OE Tuning
6. Tint...35% all around. Cops shouldn't hassle you at this level in LA

it's just the different configurations of the pipe, whether "X", "H" or straight set up. they each produce a different sound, best way is to probably check some youtube sound clips. and sorry if you already knew about the way they looked and were asking only about sound and other technical aspects of the different pipes .
