321whp dyno.... Custom x-pipe and resonator delete.wtf mate!

so realistically id like to know about how much power my c63 will be making after a tune! ive already done a secondary cat delete with x-pipe and replaced me resonators with straight pipe. I love the sound! im planning on ordering the eurocharged tuner for my car next month and I was wondering how much power increase I will see. I know its not gonna be anything ridiculous until I get more mods but I was just wondering. ive seen all different numbers but have not really seen anyone post #'s with a tune and a sec. cat delete and straight pipe in place of the resonators. if you have please share the post its in. thanks in advance everyone

About 850whp.

You see so many different numbers because all dynos are going to read differently. Put your car up there stock and then after the tune. See what you net.

Simple answer would be to get on a dyno before and after the tune. Every car will give different numbers dependent on dyno machine, weather conditions, and condition of the car.

If you want an estimated range, I'm sure you can search for it on the boards since I'm sure others have similar mods to yours.

Congrats on your future power gains!

I was thinking closer to 974 hp to all four wheels. does that seem pretty accurate?

Oh thank god, someone who understands internet sarcasm.

Spot on with that number

You're probably looking between 430-450whp depending on your car/dyno/etc.

Who cares about numbers anymore??
Where do you find road to legally use all that power! lol!
A tune should net you roughly close to 50-60 whp. Straight pipes and all that crap do not get you much more. Just a louder exhaust.
If you want more gains LTH is the solution on that M156 NA.

I hang with American muscle owners! I'm already dead even with my best friend putting down 404whp in his g8. So I'm hoping this will give me just that much more. And I wanna see if I can get in the 11's but I think I'll need a better grip set up! And I'm about to pcs over seas for a couple years and I wanna have fun in the amg before it goes into storage!

Made 321hp and 327 torque! **** me right!! Fuel was rich off the chart after like 4000rpm. It was on a dyno jet. Oh well just makes me want to tune it even more! I just don't understand how I'm losing 130hp through the drivetrain!

This right here is probably the #1 reason why I don't want to put my car on a dyno. When I am driving it, it feels like it has 481 HP (P31). If I put it on a dyno and it reads 350hp I am not going to be happy about that. Better to not know and just enjoy the power!

S550 on order
And you guys say elevation doesn't effect the motor....

Like I've told everyone, theres 300whp evos walking tuned C63s up in the mountians,

Then theres me right @ sea level all the time walking blown M3's and my friends tuned up GTR R32 ...Lifes a *****,

Guy above made 426WHP with a tune...sounds about right, I dyno'd like 413WHP Stock then 486 after the tune...then I chucked another 5-10 mods on there, and yet some how a N/A C63 can't make 500-550whp with most of the major mods

been telling alotta you guys for the last year elevation kills our engine...guess i was beating a dead horse

Forced induction always seems to do better at altitude

because of science

On a turbo, boost is based on pressure at the wastegate solenoid/boost controller. So if its set to 9 psi, it will boost till it hits 9 psi then open up the waste gate. This means you get 9 psi at sea level, and you'll get 9 psi in the mountains too.

The turbos have to work harder at altitude to get there, but they still do. Since the engines do not run 100% off of boosted air on a turbo car, there is still loss at altitude, but not nearly as much as on a N/A car.

It also depends on the tune. A turbo car tuned at sea level falls on it's face in altitude.

wow I cant believe I never updated this. well im currently in turkey for a short tour and my mom is watching my car up in WI. but any whoooo, I have a few buddys that work at the benz dealership in okc and I had them look at it.... dewf not "afterhours" lol and I had a vacuum leak in the back of my intake manifold. which could have something do do with the power loss. and while I was replacing the part, I was taking the intake manifold off and in the back where it connects to the throttle body theres a rubber seal that connects the tubes from the IM and the TB. whoever worked on it last didne put that rubber seal on correctly so I had an air leak there. I can only assume that was messing up my A/F ratio quite a bit. I replaced both parts in no time. then a couple weeks went by with no problems at all. and as ive read and have heard its a huge problem with I think just the C class in general my electronic steering column lock went out. I think that was the term for it. I was reading all over that it was anywhere from $1100-1900 out the door since its a dealer only fix. I ended up getting it out the door for a little over $800 out of pocket. plus towing costs. I had to get it done on really short notice and my dealership exceeded my expectations. 2 day delivery and a couple hours of maintenance and it was done. I made sure to have my buddy work on it since out of the 2 previous times I had visited the dealership he was working on the same problem on some C classes. the next day I was able to drive up to WI and visit my family before I left for Turkey. but while im here I plan on purchasing at least headers for the amg. I already have a tune its just not on the car yet. and ill do some blacking out of chrome and MAYBE wheels and springs, but I wanna keep a close to stock ride. if I do get wheels ill probably stick with 18's so I can stick with a comfy side wall.

Depends, if you're a yank you'll get 70 000whp.
If you're an aussie with a realistic reading dyno you'll net about 350whp - 380whp STOCK
And with a tune maybe around the 400whp mark, depending in which bracket you fall in when stock.

I got my V5 tune last week. The car felt like an animal. Insane power. Fast forward to today and my car does not feel as fast to me anymore. The traction control light is constantly on at WOT even at over 30 mph. I suppose I got used to it. GRRRRr
