New (to me) C63, finally!
Just picked up my 2009 C63 on Monday from Wisconsin. 56k miles, single owner, all maintenance done at MB of Naperville, IL. It has the P30 and lighting packages (I think, not sure what else) with Carbon Fiber trim. It also has a rear view camera in the stock mounting location which I assume the previous owner installed later. I drove it back to Maryland and had a blast! Oh, and a previous person had posted on the forum about it but hadn't bought it. I contacted them to ask why but it was nothing related to the condition of the car. They did mention the rear shade not working, which was also confirmed during a pre-sale inspection done at a WI MB dealership. But when I went to pick up the car, it worked perfectly!

Nothing big planned. I have a nicely modded RX-7 for track days. This is just a nice daily driver and car to take my wife out on dates rather than using her minivan or my dying Subaru Forester.
At some point I'll add the bluetooth adapter to the iPod connector so I can do audio from my phone. I'm also considering a temporary blue stripe down the middle to honor my police officer friends (thin blue line on black background) during police week. My best man is a motor officer and was the one to first test drive it for me remotely. I'm just not sure I want to have anything too permanent.

I saw your post. I love seeing the two next to each other for comparisons. If I'd known you had a red one available I might have gone for that over the one I got. But this one is a very nice example.

One other important thing to say is thanks to this forum. Thanks for the congrats. Thanks for the accumulation of information which allowed me to feel confident about this purchase. The ability to research cars like this carefully is incredibly valuable. I could not have done this without the MBWorld site.

Yep nice purchase!
You will love it as it is a great daily driver.
They all say they won't do anything to it but this forum is bad/good influence .
Welcome!!!

Hey, I just brought back a 2012 from Chicago last night so I am also new to the C63 ownership experience and live in Gaithersburg, MD. Can anyone recommend a good place to get my car inspected that knows how to deal with a car like this? I hate to think of it getting damaged on a lift by someone that only works on "regular" cars.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Thanks.
I took mine to Precision Auto in Germantown.

$126 and they didn't try to drum up any BS about needing wipers or something.
I also have a mechanic who will happily work on Mercedes (and will turn away BMW and Audi owners) in Old Town Gaithersburg. Cho's Auto.

Larry's is the most honest shop I can think of, but he doesn't do state inspections.
We need to get together, I'm near the Kentlands.

Thanks. I will check out Precision. I also have a good hookup for service in Rockville but they don't do inspections.
My car is white with the black/white interior. I will post one of the pics the seller used. He posted the sale on here too so you guys may already know the car. Once I get tags on the car, we should meet up in Kentlands.
Thanks again for the help.
