2014 C63 AMG 507 sedan
Love it when the community comes together so OP can get his C63!
Here's my suggestion: new Coilovers with air suspension. http://mobile.dudamobile.com/site/fortuneautona/air-cup-system#2928

I needed to check for myself and measured the approach angle of mine this morning.
To the center section of the lower lip I have 12 deg but to the corner it drops to 10 deg because the corners are lower.

Thanks guys for all the responses. A contractor is coming out today to look at the situation. Hopefully he can offer a reasonable solution. I asked the owner if the car had been modified in any way. He said no...it does have the P31 package tho.
Odonnks, were those measurements off a coupe or sedan and also whether it has the P31 option. But you are right, when we were trying from the left side of the driveway it was the corner of the spoiler that was the primary problem.
As far a looking at other cars...there are only 2 on the island I live on and only 1 for sale. My options are a bit limited there.

hmf63 - it is a coupe.
For 2014 the P31 Developement package was replaced with the P61 Edition 507 package.
I believe the only chassis difference is that the P61 got 19-inch wheels.
I measured it again since I'm home for the day and laying on the garage floor is not a issue. I got the same 12 deg on the center section and at the corners it was teddering on 10 and 9 deg.
If you are really set on the car there as should be a few relatively inexpensive changes that can be made to the profile of your driveway entrance.

Hmmm..I'm wide open to suggestions regarding inexpensive solutions. I do want something that's more or less permanent...wooden planks would be unacceptable.

Just an update on my situation...A week ago I said screw it and bought the car figuring a solution would come up. Got it home and tried to see how much it would scrape...hoping not more than I could live with, since it was mine now I could be a bit less cautious. Guess what...? The sucker never came close to scraping. Got my wife in the passenger seat...still no bad sounds. Geez...talk about the Chicken Little Syndrome. Long story made short..my new (to me) car sits safely in my garage.
Thanks for all the support from those who tried to help me...and to those who insisted that I was stupid...you were right.
