Greetings all,

My c63 2010 is slightly over 50k miles and recently it had to be towed.

I was in Soho and it stopped functioning.

1st. Battery light came on flashing red
2nd. Service light and malfunctions of SRS airbags
3rd Car wouldn't turn off, no function of the key

Conclusion: I had to pull the battery under the hood and get it towed.

Rewired and bought a new alternator for over 1500$

Recently on a cold start and moved 2 blocks it happened again but after turning car off and running it on, nothing showed.

Problem is obviously still existent but I am too scared to drive away from home since I will probably need a tow again.

Hum ... the battery on the C63 is in the trunk. Not too sure what did you pull under the hood.
Either way that sucks. Get it diagnose at a dealership or reputable indie shop. GL

i pulled the front hood, top left corner, disconnected the connection to the computer?

i brought it to an indie shop, but i think i need to bring it back to the dealership......
