primary and 2nd cat delete

Does anyone have a video clip or a review on a primary and secondary cat delete either resonator removed or still in? I read some of the other threads but didn't see any dyno results or videos.

both might be tough to find, primary's are required just about anywhere in the states for emissions, especially if they do a visual inspection.

Some of the header guys might chime in, but without headers, I doubt you'll find anyone that just decided to lop off primary's and straight pipe...

Yea I hear what your saying. But I can getahold of an inspection sticker. My C only comes out on Monday night's and track days so I'm not really worried. But what I am worried about is how extremely loud it'll be, drone, smell, and any other problems that may occur. I had the secnd n res delete on my 09 and heard lth c63s in person and they're not that bad....well for my taste at least. I just don't see paying 3 grand for headers when I can remove the cats and possibly make a few less hp than the headers yield for 1/8 th the price.

The cat's are not what are providing the bulk of the results with LTH or even shorty headers It's the design and optimized flow in the actual header. Cats have nothing to do with it, and I think you'd just be wasting your time and money to deal with the cats for minimal yield.

Why not look into a high-flow primary instead? No need to mess with potential inspection woes, CEL's, and the like, and gains should be comprable (if any) without going full on headers.
