Comfort Mode

Hi Guy,

I read now and again people saying "In comfort mode, the sets off in second gear" I dont think mine does.
Sometimes its a bit snatchy at set off, like in a manual box when set off in to lower a gear.
My car has just had a new wet clutch fitted due to judder, car is a 2013 car.
Could it be tht the car is still addapting to my style, only got the car back Friday.

you can put the dash display into AMG display, and you will see what gear it uses when you set off.

Never thought of that! I will try that tomorrow.
Should it set off in 2nd ger in comfort mode?

yes, it should. when you get to a complete stop, you will see "2" as 2nd on that display.

Or when you just start the car it is in c mode. Go to m before you put it in drive, then put it in drive and see what gear you're in. I can start off in 2nd in manual mode this way.

Never thought about that too much and always figured it was my car being weird/still warming up. Great to hear that there is a reason behind the madness lol.
