Hey Im pretty sure I can figure out your last name and if Im right its a cultural thing, and you couldn't keep your parents from doing it even if you wanted to. Not only that, but you'll end up doing the same thing for your kids one day, cos you will all probably live in the same house. Amirite?
I live in multicultural Vancouver. Its pretty common here, and that's just how it is.

With your user name I thought your last name might be Cho. We have a large Chinese and Korean community here in Vancouver, and it is very very common for multiple generations to live together. The grandparents very frequently help with the kids and care of the house, vehicles etc while the middle generation goes to work. It's actually very nice - the grandparents and grandkids have a real relationship and the gkids learn respect for an older generation. Meantime the middle generation can throw down the kind of 80-100 weeks required to build a career, knowing that the home front is well cared for and well loved. Thats all I meant. If you were Chinese or Korean you probably couldnt keep your parents from caring for your stuff, and one day you would be doing the same. Thats it, thats all. No judgement on that system, no judgement on you.
Nobody came anywhere near asking for a "measuring contest". I couldn't give a flying fudge what you do for a living. You drive a C63 and that's all that matters to me. No idea where you took that turn in your head, but you took it all on your own.

one option to consider is the HRE FF15. a new set will go for 2700-2800. they are HRE's, similar in style, and have a more aggressive offset than the oem multispokes.
