decal for amg calipers
i KNOWW... not another thread about this... but
i once saw a thread where someone stated i can get the amg and the stripes pad printed onto the caliper... i feel like this is the safest way to go.. stickers would be the easiest, and i already spoke to one of the vendors about it and he says they hold up fine.. but i just feel like with weekly cleaning they will chip or flake or something.. and i would be livid if i had to redo the job again..
so my question is how do i go about getting the pads "printed"?

They should be fine as long as you apply everything correctly.

the AMG stickers are $5 on ebay it's the way to go. they even have the new curved ones. if you are really worried about it you could clear coat over the sticker.

i was definitely planning on clearing over the stickers. if i did go that route.
how many of you guys fully dissasemble the brakes to do it? i have a body shop, masking won't be an issue.

all you really need to do is take the bleeders off and make sure they are drained completely. no need to completely disassemble and remove the pistons. just mask them off. I did the brakes on my srt8 jeep they came out flawless. just a light scuff
then right to paint
I didn't clear over the stickers because i was afraid of making a mess out of it. They were fine and are still fine.

good to know about the stickers! that is really the only part bugging me.
a friend of mine actually said he left his on the car, just masked the appropriate stuff and did the spray can. all of the residual overspray came off. so more ways than one to skin this cat apparently. and last i remember his brakes did look pretty dam good. lol
