New owner, old questions regarding insurance, warranty and clear bra

Just picked up my new 2014 diamond white C63 today, very happy!

Anyway, the finance manager is trying to sell me couple things:

1, 3M Pro clear bra, full hood, front bumper, and some other usual places. $1350. However my buddy recommended XPEL (being self heal and not turning yellow). Which one should I choose? Also, do I really need it on a white car?

2, 3 years extended exclusionary warranty to 7 years, 80k miles, $4738. The warranty is actually sold by AUDI. Do I really need it? Should I go with MBUSA? Do you guys have any contacts?

3, Got a new quote for my auto insurance, same terms as before (my 2013 X5). Total premium went up $450 to $1642 a year. 100k/300k, 50k PDL, $1000 collision deductible and $300 comprehensive deductible. Does this look right to you?

Thanks if these questions have been asked before. I tried to use the search feature but that didn't really get me much information.

Clear bra isn't a bad idea, especially if you do a lot of highway driving. However, white cars really hide the damage well (my 13 is white and braless) and is fine.. If you do it, don't go through the dealer, go to a private shop.

Warranty is definitely nice to have, however, your 14 is still covered under factory warranty for some time..

And your insurance. Depends on age, where you live, history. I'm 25, no tickets or accidents, and pay right around $1300/yr for both my cars.

Hope that helps

Congrats!

1. My s65 has a clear bra, wish i had that done on my c63. Don't need to necessarily have it done by the dealer, maybe you can find better deals in other places? great to protect from rock chips and bugs (A LOT in florida)

2. Don't have to get it from the dealer, plus you have remaining factory warrranty so you can extend that later with mbusa maybe?

3. Agree with purple heart on this.. depends

Thanks guys. My auto insurance used to be fairly cheap, about $1200 for two cars per year. Somehow the rate increased a lot after I got divorced about 3 years ago. Do they automatically categorize divorced male driving a C63 = suicidal?
