Took the AMG on a spirited drive today in North Carolina on Tail of the Dragon. Pushed the car hard and had a lot of fun. Really surprised at how well it did.

However when I got back home and locked the car, I noticed that the alarm chirp that occurs during lock/unlock is now very quiet. Anyone else encounter problems with the alarm chirp on their cars in the past?

Mine just sounds the horn. 3 times on lock. 1 on unlock. Just briefly beeps the horn.

my 13 C63 has a low tone horn beep.... no triple lazer chirp like my x g/f 09 SLK I like that one better than the horn beep.... =(

My 13 doesn't make a sound when I lock or unlock it. I never really thought about it before, but is that normal? Is there a setting that I can change to make it chirp or beep?

yes sir.... its all controlled from your cluster.... just bring it to the dealer and have them configure it for you.... shouldn't cost you anything

Seems to working correctly today. Guess it the car was tired from the 11 hrs on the road yesterday

Browse to the option in the cluster and there is an option to turn it on and off.
