W205 Edition 1 C63S
Some may have already seen the C63s but yesterday was a first for me.
While at my dealer yesterday getting Service A dome on mine I asked the AMG specialist if any C63S's were in.
It took him a bit hunt it down as it literally just came off the truck.
It was a white edition 1 sedan.
Nice looking car. Not as aggressive looking as the 2014 and later body styles.
The red exterior touches and red carbon fiber weave in the interior was different and at the same time looked pretty nice as a package. The red diamond stitched seats also looked nice and reminded me of Audi's similar seat coverings.
Once fired up I was surprised at how nice it sounded. The valve-tronic style exhaust made a nice change in tone and when activated allowed for nice cracks and pops.
The turbo whine also sounded nice. To the extent that I'd bet they purposely did not insulate the sound to get that effect.
Looking under the hood he showed how AMG extended the front end on these cars.
The fenders and hood are longer than non-AMG cars.
Sticker was $88K.
Dealer is Bobby Rahal in Pittsburgh.
I'll be interesting to see what increases can be had with a tune only.
Here are pics of a similar edition 1

Just thought I'd share.
