First-time tuner - looking for pointers
Hey guys -- Just joined and have posted some of these questions in a couple threads, but posting this thread here for any and all suggestions and pointers.
My ride is a C63 507 (matte platinum with the twin 5-spoke forged black wheels - stock, will post a pic soon). I'm looking into tuning/mods for performance but am still finding my way -- my questions are pretty basic, so appreciate your patience and any thoughts / pointers -- all appreciated.
-- What's a good tuning 'starter set up' for a 507 in the range of $1,000-$2,500? Eurocharged 63 series perf engine software and handheld?
-- Would a performance airbox package (Eurocharged's or other) yield the same or similar gains in HP/torque to that level of tuning?
-- I know there are sponsors here and if I'm asking anything off-base please disregard or tell me, but any thoughts on preferences among the tuners for a stock 507?
-- How to tune or add mods like an airbox package without messing with factory warranty?
Thanks

Eurocharged answered your other thread. All of this has been discussed here ad-nauseum. Search will yield answers to all of this. Your best bet is to start there.
Search: "Eurocharged tune"
Search: "ROW airbox"

I agree with BLKROKT, all those things have been discussed within the past week endlessly.
ROW airboxes will only add a couple of hp but they do help make things run more smoothly, easy performance boost, also easy to install. EC is great for their price and convenience, the V5 tune is fun also.
A tune by Eurocharge - https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...eady-ship.html

Also take a look at these threads. Both have comments from members who have tuned a 507.
I'd look to make mods that allow the engine to breath better.

IMO - There's not much to gain in a flash tune.

Thanks for the info, which Eurocharged tune did you do, and what kind of gains did you get?

There is only one Eurocharged tune you can get - it's whatever the latest one is for our cars. They provide free updates.
Gains are well documented. Seriously, I know everyone wants an answer personalized and addressed to them per their specific question, but if you do a search all your questions will be answered.
