Okay, so i had the secondary cats re installed today.

Happy to report the car is back to normal!

The sound is brilliant now.
I will try get some video over the weekend, and post it up.

But to describe the sound, it sounds just a little louder (obviously only under acceleration) than what it used to sound with ONLY 2nd cat removed.

So just to re-cap, my setup NOW is:

LTH (4 into 1)
100Cell Cats
Then after the above its all factory.

I did not get time to dyno after 2nd cat install.

But what i will do now is, go back to OE, get another tune put on to accommodate the LTH & 100C Cats, then after all that will put it back on the same Dyno that gave me the 315kw reading, and report back.

Still no CEL at all which i guess is good.

Though what i will report is under WOT, and slightly turning a corner i feel vibration coming through the floor / steering wheel.

I am assuming that the exhaust is slightly hitting somewhere under the car. Will need to bring it back to get checked.

But all in all, much happier with the sound. Still as AMG bark & burble.
Downshifts with the blipping also sounds great.

Nice glad to hear that iv been checking out the x force headers great price fit and finish good? I also saw they had a full catback for a great price as well and on their videos they had the headers and catback installed and it sounded great not too loud and deep. So could be an option for tamming the sound down, but sounds like you have it figured out. So no cels?? Worried about passing emissions. I wonder why more people don't have x force headers?

For the vibration you are getting check the body cross brace between the second cats and resonator. It is a common place for the exhaust to hit after LTHs are installed.

Mort: Thanks for the pointer. Will tell them that.

AMGonFire: I actually have the whole X Force system (headers to tips) but i only wanted to use the headers. I actually have the rest of the system for sale in the For Sale section, and on eBay for $990AU + Shipping.

Before i bought them, alot of people advised me against it. Saying they were crap headers. But for the price, i thought i would try them out.

So far, i am happy. I can vouch that the headers & cats alone made 31 RW KW (41HP) extra. And i will add, that i have not yet updated the tune. So i am expecting slightly more after OE updates my tune.

The headers appeared to be well made. Here are some pics of the headers and the rest of the system.

From the videos i saw, it wasnt the sound i was after.
I want to retain the AMG bark a little.

Looks like a quality made exhaust though. Its its very very light. I have sold many C63 mufflers, and picking this up compared to the C63 ones, there is a massive weight saving in the system for sure.

That makes no sense. All your aftermarket gear on your C63 is Chinese. So off course i'm going to assume you have Chinese cannons on the S2000.

Save a little extra and get proper gear.
IPE, Cargraphic, even DPE would have been the way to go. At least DPE is made in a factory in Australia (Melbourne).

Xforce is made in a factory in Xinjiang China. Get ready for the cracks that start to appear lol.
It's a Mercedes not a VT SS Holden.

Even blokes with Holdens have started to go DPE rather than Xforce.

Just because it's cheaper does not mean it's crap all the time. I doubt you know anything about the reliabilty or longevity of this header. It could be crap but it could be a decent build budget header. Sounds like the fitment was great and it looks decent. Just don't know longevity. Maybe the op can update in 6 months. Just because somthing costs more does not always mean it's better a lot of the parts for these cars should not cost as much as they do for what it is it's because it's mercedes and they know people will pay.

I will keep everyone posted on longevity.
In fairness i rarely drive this car hard. So i think [for me] they will last.

These NEW cost $1500AU [$1050US] So for a difference of $3000[US] im willing to take the gamble.

31RWKW increase (before & after dyno) + i still have to update the tune to acomodate the headers (hopefully squeeze out a few more kw)

Anyway, just wait until i put these cannons on.... Whooaaaaa!!! But def will be Jap cannons

You might drop a couple of ponies but the car will drive better

After I loaded the stage 2 tune I dropped 5kw right at the top end but I was able to breath behind the car not die

Good luck

Ps the tips on the x force are horrible but the headers look ok

It's crap because the owner of the company himself told me they're made in China. Not only that, they crack a fair bit too
An example of a 'cheap' branded header that performs well is DPE. They're Australian made and proven.
Xforce is Chinese made and NOT proven.

2 months ago they hadn't even sold one set of C63 headers and hadn't even fitted one to a C63 in Australia. They wanted my brother's car as a test dummie.

AMGonFire- No im only joking. Just razzing up our resident Headers critic!

But really, if you listen to Trump, China is doing great things now! But in all honesty, Chinese stuff isnt what it used to be. Alot of Chinese products (and dont forget alot of things are made in China just take a walk around your home and see) are getting better quality.

Im not trying to convince myself, and im not only talking car parts. Im talking general items. I deal with China a fair bit (not as much as Trump!) but they arent all bad.

Mr747- Yeah, the tips i dont like at all. I heard the system on YouTube (the whole system) and didnt like the sound. I only really wanted headers.

Its getting the updated OE Tune on Friday. So will see how it goes after that. I feel (and its just butt dyno) that after putting the headers on (with just standard OE Tune) there is a little loss in the mid range. Im hoping updating the tune will iron that out. See how it goes.

Mr747 knows where i got the X Force system from. And he can verify i paid peanuts for it. So it was a no brainer for me to give it a try. And i will say im happy with the headers thus far.
