But really, if you listen to Trump, China is doing great things now! But in all honesty, Chinese stuff isnt what it used to be. Alot of Chinese products (and dont forget alot of things are made in China just take a walk around your home and see) are getting better quality.

Im not trying to convince myself, and im not only talking car parts. Im talking general items. I deal with China a fair bit (not as much as Trump!) but they arent all bad.

Mr747- Yeah, the tips i dont like at all. I heard the system on YouTube (the whole system) and didnt like the sound. I only really wanted headers.

Its getting the updated OE Tune on Friday. So will see how it goes after that. I feel (and its just butt dyno) that after putting the headers on (with just standard OE Tune) there is a little loss in the mid range. Im hoping updating the tune will iron that out. See how it goes.

Mr747 knows where i got the X Force system from. And he can verify i paid peanuts for it. So it was a no brainer for me to give it a try. And i will say im happy with the headers thus far.
It's different when you have a German Car.
Might aswell change your pistons to Chinese made one's if you truly believe China can match Germany.

This reiterates what i said many many months ago when asked why i was selling my C63. I said "just like the E46 M3 became Chinese, so will the C63 once it becomes cheaper"

The only two winners here are Ebay and the finance companies that help the fast and the furious wana be's

Check this out if you're into Chinese gear for C63's. Plenty here: http://www.made-in-china.com/product...1&word=c63+amg

Let's just say if you drove the car everyday for a couple of months and gave it a squirt here and there, they'd be cracked. Chinese Headers

Raw- I feel what your saying.

I never said (or believe) that Chinese made, is better than German made.

None of the "better branded" headers you mentioned are made in Germany anyway. Most popular ones are made in Taiwan i think. Even iPE / Agency is made in Taiwan (an island off the coast of China BTW)

I chose these headers out of pure convenience and stingyness. I pretty much got these for free. And i mean FREE. A mod that i would never have shelled out $3k + for "good ones". Im not into the C63 THAT much to drop big $$ into it. (and thats no slur at all the other members who spend $$ on their car- because there are some awesome cars on here).

If i were rich, different story. But i think im like most other members here. Will spend a bit of money on cosmetics (wheels / diffuser / splitters etc), bit of a tune etc and just enjoy the car.

Most any rims one buys (even you) are made in China. CF Parts. etc.
China isnt ALL BAD. Its not better than German or some other Euro brands. But it aint all that bad.

Yes, but it was a serious question. How would i know if they were cracked? Would it sound different? Would i feel a power loss?

I never bought Chinese rims. They broke before i got to buy them. So i stuck with stock

China for headers IMO is a no no.
You should've gone with DPE. Local, Aussie Made and proven.

It's your car, you do as you please. I just don't understand the logic when one has a beautiful German car, to stick Chinese made headers on it when there's affordable alternatives like DPE.

Summer is coming, you will find out when they crack. Drive the 63 a fair bit in summer and you'll have a thread here "Cracked Headers" lol.

Xforce is known to crack. Ring DPE. They get all the Xforce customers who go to them when their headers/manifolds crack.

Just google "Cracked Xforce Headers" and make sure you have a few hours spare to read through all the threads lol.

There are the two choices i had for off the shelf for RHD. (maybe there are others im not 100% sure)

DPE - maybe $2000? with shipping to Sydney? (I actually dont know the exact price, im just guessing)
or
X-Force which cost me nothing. Im my head, i thought worst case, they are crap, and go back to stock. Lost some $ in labour getting fitted.

That was my reasoning. If they crack, i will post it up, so others know to steer clear of them, and i will eat a piece of humble pie.

NOW LEAVE ME ALONE!!! :'(

DPE is $1695
An educated mind doesn't need you to tell us to steer clear. The web does that. A simple search about Xforce will show that they're not good.

Maybe for a little while, but IMO and to many other people (a quick search will tell you) they're not ideal for Aussie made cars, let alone German cars.

But gluck with it anyway man, it's your car.

I had a set of 1 7/8 di filippo stainless extractors that cracked at the collector ( were the pipes merged ) but this could have been caused but the exhaust not being supported properly.
Cheers Wayne

Di filippo is DPE yes?

Anyway, if it does crack, i will post up so people will know. And i will chalk it up to bad experience and go back to stock.

Ofcourse im hoping it wont. And i dont think it will. But if it does, then i will gladly say you were right.

2007 - That's before they became a reputable company.
Now everything is made in a factory in Melbourne.

Just like similar vendors and companies on this website. Some HAD a bad reputation but cleaned their act up. Xforce HAS a bad repuation. Still hasn't changed. Still made in China.

Dw about the cracking, Xforce has a 5 year warranty! lol

I only used DPE as an affordable alternative and one I'd rather choose if it was my decision between a Chinese made Xforce product or Australian made product.

I'm not a tight ***, so i'd go Cargraphic or Customised MBH headers for RHD from International Autohaus.

I did search, and it appears that the consensus is they have in the past cracked at the welds for some people.

Had i had known this, i would have got the welds redone before i put them in, just to be sure.

Time will tell. I hope they dont...

Hope they are better now...

Just enjoy it. If it cracks it cracks.
Just like the engine if it blows just buy a Sangyong and dump it in the bay.

Ssangyong is Mercedes anyway.

My point is, if DPE can pick up their game, along with other vendors here from 2007, im sure X-Force can too

Doesn't mean they sold the headers. That car in the video only had the cat back system and most of the sound was done by effects. Up until a few months ago, Xforce themselves hadn't even installed a set of headers to a C63 AMG.
They made the advert in 2014. LMFAO.
Speak to "Junior" at Xforce. He will tell you himself. He told my brother he would give him a set of headers for free if he would lend his car to have them test the headers on.

He said, "No thanks"

I didnt say they sold them. My point was you said they hadnt fitted a set to a C63 in Australia. The point of showing the video was that, there was a set on a C63 from Aug 2014 (Or earlier) in Australia.

According to the X-Force Channel on YouTube, it lists:
XFORCE Performance Exhaust System for Mercedes AMG C63.
System features:

1"7/8 Primary Headers;
Dual 3" 100Cell Metallic Cats;
Twin 3" Cat-Back System with Quad-Tips.

So not just a Cat- Back.
Anyway, doesnt matter.
