Perhaps this is what you are experiencing? I thought at first that it was the engine idle, but I have been able to reproduce the feeling.
yeah, i have experienced this too.

It is true. Here in Florida the traffic sucks, and my c63 '12 shifts weird, like the car feels stressed , but when I beat him, the car feels relaxed.

My previous '10 used to behaves better in traffic.

But to be honest I don't give a damn .

Yea I apologize but if I was just feeling the tap I wouldn't care but I started hearing it but oddly only hear it loud knocking on incline hills at a stop. My AMG tech texted me that it could be motor or trans mounts. He said it could also be purge valve actuating making the tap feel but the sound might be mount flexing on the incline and transferring the sound. But its definitely a knock knock sound every few seconds on incline. Outside of that my transmission is acting normal again. I guess it did have to adapt.

The shake could be mounts. Also, it could be a bad coil and/or spark plug wire. Happened with my previous AMG.

So took the AMG in to my Benz dealer

I don't know what these guys are talking about.
I have a 2012 with 400 miles.

I have NO tapping, knocking, shaking at idle.
My car feels like a Prius at a light. Car is solid thankfully.

ENV2 if I remember correctly you are in Atlanta. We may be able to get together to compare them if you like

Brake booster on its way out?

I had a similar issue with a different car, and the brake booster was leaking and with pulsate the brake pedal and i would hear a faint knock with each pulse

This could be it but I had the shop foreman drive it today he said it drives well and the pulsing is common. I had a feeling it was something with brakes cause only happens when braked in gear.

Ill wait til my next oil change and bring it up. Would the brake booster throw a CEL? Is it a har part to change?

I live in Atlanta also. My 2012 rumbles at idle. I had a local shop Bavarian auto say there was something seriously wrong with it because of that. I really laugh when I hear things like that.

The motor is not always smooth. I will notice it more at different times. It's 100% normal for a large displacement motor. All my large displacement cars have done it. It is not a smooth silky car that's for sure.

You would throw codes if anything was really wrong with what your describing. IMO. I also agree the car behaves better when not babied around. Just the nature of the setup.

Also if your running a "tune" things will change.
