Smoke from oil fill location
Checked the oil today and noticed it was a bit low, so I opened the oil fill cap to add a quart and there was a bit of smoke coming out. Not a lot but enough for me to notice. Anyway my question is this normal? I've never seen anything like this before so unsure what to make of it
Thanks

^ This. It's indeed likely to be vapour - although it is generally moisture and other combustion by-products, not the actual oil that vaporizes (the boiling point of motor oil is well above 500 F - it would ignite well before it turns into vapour). It's perfectly normal.
