I'm interested as well - need to figure out install costs.

Anyone in the SoCal area have recommendations or have an idea of costs?

C63 AMG Coupe 2012+ fender kits will be ready sometime in February. I'll keep you guys updated. It is possible to do another group buy if we can fill up another order of 7 again and can ship anywhere worldwide.

I would really like to initiate the actual order after my first shipment comes in. But for testing waters and interest, I'll leave another list below:

Please leave your username, model type and if you need OEM Black series liners.

Wow. Almost 5?

Looks like 7 doesn't seem too far away. I can't speak for the guys on the first shipment but I doubt anyone is willing to give them up. So best bet is the lock in your orders for the second shipment and see how that goes. I'm hoping everyone gets a chance to acquire them while this group buy lasts.

Try Long Tran or LT ...etc. They mostly work on BMW's but if you give them a try. They've done a ton of Liberty Walk installs so this one will be easy breezy.

No one can be certain. They're in process of fulfilling group buy #1 right now. After that, they'll move to on to taking additional orders.

From the time they take our order (probably 2 to 3 weeks) we'd be looking at another 6-8 weeks of build time.

Yep. It's a long wait. The issue is not just the price, but rather actually getting them into the county. From talking to others that have purchased individually prior to the GB, it's been a real pain having to deal with customs/customs brokers etc. I thought about going this route myself but after investigation, it's just proven to be a very difficult process.

EDIT: Oh, and they only ship to a business address. Just another thing that makes getting these individually so challenging.

I'll remove you from the list above for now then.

I don't think it's as difficult as you think. The package is less than 20 pounds. You can ship UPS worldwide and use their brokers. I actually had a set of flares for my 70 Camaro shipped from the Czech Republic last year and they came within a week with no issues.

HMS Tuning will not ship to a residential address. They will only ship to a U.S. customs office and then to a business address where after everything it comes out to be~ 3500, 4000 landed. This is what you had to do before this GB.

Members have been asking about these fenders for 2 years! I've been working direct with HMS Tuning to make this process seamless for everybody. Also to include the OEM Black Series liner at cost to complete the kit.

Time wise its all the same since the fenders are hand-made to order. They are not a readily off the shelf item, so it takes time to produce them. The next few weeks are booked on producing the first order GB fenders and the 2012+ coupe variant! Updates soon!

I appreciate all the hard work you've done for this group buy. Not trying to diminish your efforts at all. It's really a selfless act and you're a stand-up guy for doing it.

But all international packages go through US Customs and you can use UPS and Purolator brokers to handle the paperwork. And I do have a business address to ship to.

Looking forward to seeing some installs State side!

I bought my set about 6 months before this group buy popped up and it was difficult for me. I did not have the option to select shipping method. There was a language barrier and it was difficult enough just to get permission from them to buy the fenders. Payment had to be done via bank transfer which was another challenge due to differences in language.

Once the shipment arrived stateside it was held up again by the customs agent / broker and then there was an issue having to ship it from the port to the shop. The shop and I went thru multiple phone calls and e-mails trying to figure out what the hold up was. I had to get a separate courier to deliver it to the shop in order for me to get the fenders.

I agree it is possible to order direct, but the group buy method that Ernst has setup seems to be the best route for those that are not familiar with shipping items like this from Europe. If you have enough people in the GB, you're really not saving that much in regards to timing since these are not "in-stock" items. They're made at the time order, so it's 6-8 weeks before it's even shipped.

I appreciate the kind words! and its the next big step!

It took a while to get everything organized and cut out all the unnecessary hassles. Once the items are finished and leave Germany. It will only take about a week to get them.

Having a business address doesn't help because HMS won't ship direct so you must go through your own broker and the shipping/taxes/brokerage fees add up to the prices people paid prior to the GB.

Here's a final rendering of my build with the HMS rear fenders. Geeked that I'll have this finally on the car this year.

I wonder why HMS has it set at 7 Orders for some odd reason. Maybe that's all they can produce in 1 batch or something along those lines.

I mean, if we could get 3 more pre-paid orders right now, before they've even started production paid, why wouldn't they?

For sake of argument that is.

I'm not sure why that is but I'm just thankful to get the first order in. At first HMS would not sell them unless you purchased them with in-house installation. Nowadays they will sell them to you but they will not ship direct to your door step. Again I don't know why, that's just how it is.

The first order is officially closed, meaning even if 3 people paid now it would be for the potential second order. I think once the coupe fenders are produced. Alot more people would be interested in purchasing.
