My tune runs the car super lean...15ish AFR ratios..i think normal is around 12-14 ..but you get a bit extra power leaning the engine out a bit more
is urs a p31 car too?we only called u crazy when u stated u make 550whp n/a lolOriginally Posted by avery.whss
Sometimes yeah, my car put down around the same stock ...just a heads up..you're going to have people call you a liar for making 400whp stock even with dyno sheets. Good job though either way, and yeah it is crazy what those older e-classes put down!!My tune runs the car super lean...15ish AFR ratios..i think normal is around 12-14 ..but you get a bit extra power leaning the engine out a bit more

I always dyno uncorrected and hate using correction factors to manipulate power I have sae numbers but I will only use those for apple to apple comparison if I end up dynoing again in worse conditions.Originally Posted by gzim335

The 400whp is what my car made on this given day without any help using correction factors.
I don't use correction factors when I go down the 1/4 mile either.its what the car runs on that given day without any bs to have some say ohhh you used a 1.03 correction factor etc.
This is the raw uncorrected numbers my car laid down today lol
I'm not hiding anything all the conditions and details are at the bottom of the dyno sheet.
Stock intake filters and I didn't remove the snorkles to help get more air in.
I've seen guys dyno with no filters just for bragging rights lol

i never stated it made that much ..i just said with "headers" it might but i was wrong..and i already have said it was a mis-understanding because i thought what the tuner said is i would get "100whp" from my current setup which was already tuned but it's 100whp from stock form and probably like 30-40whp current ..i think if OP added headers/tune he'd probably be around 480-490whp ..sadly the e55 would probably still pull the c63 lol

There are no bolt ons that can come close to the 55k you will need boost to compete Originally Posted by avery.whss

The e55 at 2000 rpms is making 500wrt and just waiting to squat 5 cars in 5 seconds on anything that wants to run lol

Don't listen to Avery please, he doesn't know what he's talking about. 15:1 AFR will grenade your engine. Quickly.
I've got Innovative widebands on each bank, and I see 12.3-12.5 @ WOT in 3rd and 4th. A little fat, but safe as kittens. I wouldn't want to see even 13, no thanks that's cutting it too close for me on a high compression engine.
And I'd like to see a NA 500whp C63 as much as the next guy. But AFAIK they don't exist, and you'd need head work to get there. Again, FBO with headers will not get you there despite what avery might believe.
Don't get too hung up on dyno numbers. Unless you're pulling your engine and putting it on an engine dyno, all others are a close estimate at best and more suitable for determining the effect of changes to the car than bragging about hp numbers.

Headers, pulley, tune in an e55 and you are looking at 100whp and 150rwt gains
My e55 on race gas made 604 rwt and 530whp and there is no na c63 on this planet that will walk or pull on it.

That's a great time. You'd be hard pressed to find a NA C63 running that without some drastic weight reduction and slicks. At least.Originally Posted by skratch77

470whp is more realistic with a aggressive tune

Yeah I hated the heat soak as I was running a huge pulley and really pushing the limits of the stock blower.Originally Posted by gzim335

The e55 is a beast from 45-120 mph onnce you hit 4tg gear it falls on its face from all the heat the big pulleys make.
But again I don't know how my car will feel with 30-40 more whp.I will be happy if I can run 11.7 at 120 with a tune

at least gzim was smart enough to read my posts instead of just bluntly spitting out more random crap..Anyways this isn't the thread to derail, I'll be the man here seeing you just love acting like a 12 year old boy with a hard on for me.
Do you guys know if the jl front ram intakes make any power?
