With that said, a 19x10 ET50 P101 for example, on a W204 C63 would use an MO profile. If you were in search of an LO profile, the maximum conical profile, we would need to push the offset much further away from the brakes in order for that profile to fit, essentially making the wheel poke outside the fenders by quite a lot. We could clear the brakes by doing this, but you're going to have to sit about 20mm's further out compared to the 10" ET50 for that to happen (essentially 10" ET30). Obviously not an ideal fitment, but hopefully that gives you some insight on that and how it works. Most C63's use a flatter conical profile primarily due to the higher offsets these cars take.

Excellent explanation Jurrian.
This is first car I've had in a while with horrible offsets.
Do you have any photos of the MO profile that shows how conical it is?

We have four conical profiles to a wheel, HO/IO/MO/LO (from least to most conical), and each one is chosen depending on what width, offset, and brake clearance the car has. These four profiles are what determines how conical (concave), the face of the wheel is, so it's not just about the wheel sizing and offset itself, it's about brake clearance too which determines what profile we use. Too conical of a profile causes the back of the spokes to hit the caliper so not every application with the right fitment is going to be able to utilize the most conical profiles.

BTW, yes the offsets are different between the C63 and RS7, but since the profile and widths are are the same, the only thing that changed is the backpad size since it utilizes an MO profile.
