Factory Rear Seat Delete Part #'s
#26
Was an extremely limited market but prices are coming down and people are modding C63's more than ever. Have you seen all the "carbon" parts littered out there for our cars that no one runs?
If I can find a Black Series C63 overseas with factory seat delete willing to be a test mule, a simple FRP (Low cost) sheet based off OE or slightly modified. That way you can wrap it in carbon, paint it gloss or matte, flock it alcantara etc.
I'm confident that if we get at least 10 members, we can get it going.

I am not convinced of the hard carbon fiber approach. A basket (or 2 half baskets) in soft material to hold helmets between runs or some other smaller luggage items would be more useful.

Agree. Think it's a terrible idea. I want carpeted buckets back there, not reflective slippery scratch-able carbon. Zero purpose.

I wonder how much a fab shop would charge to measure out the area needing to be covered and cut either carbon fiber or aluminum with some type of leather or cloth cover... maybe something that clips into factory mounting areas and can be removed if seats needed to be put back...
i found this shop locally in orlando http://www.compositecraftinc.com/index.html
website says they offer in house cutting and CAD design services... ill try reaching out to them
