Rear deck removal?

Anyone know an easy way of removing the rear deck? I have an annoying rattle anytime I have a song with low bass from the passenger side rear deck speaker grille. Its driving me nuts.

Easy? No.

Pull the pads on the outside to the rear seat out (under the seat belt), they'll be stuck so pull hard.

Pull the weather stripping on the doors out of the way.

Pull the C-pillar trim off. Good luck. I broke the piece on the inside of the trim that holds the fastener on.

Pull out the pins holding the rear deck panel in.

Pull out the panel.

the easy process (if you are still under warranty)
1. Take it to the dealer and explain problem
2. relax while they sort it out.
3. Drive home happily with no rattles.

Since I was going to dealer today anyway for new COMAND knob and new Steering wheel I told them about this. They took care of it.

I just did this and wanted to add a couple of things.
You’ll also need to pull out the trim pieces that hold the rear seat belts. There’s a t20 torx behind the “airbag” plastic cover. You can just slide a plastic shim tool and pop this out. Once that’s done, you can pull the trim pieces firmly forward towards the front of the car.
Then remove the rear deck pins (2). These have a big rubber washer/spacer and a plastic pin. They can also be pulled out with a trim removal tool. Then pull the rear deck forward and above the seat latches. You should now be able to wiggle it out by inserting your hands underneath and just pulling gently. Note that there is a connector for the brake light on passenger side, so you’ll have to pivot the assembly towards driver side first, and pull it out most of the way, before remove disconnecting the connector.
